For our waters! As the burning incense, we dance spontaneously through the waves of life. Non of our movements has been previously thought, non of our movements is the same. All is raised from consciousness and it melts in it.

This is our legacy by daily actions!

CAUSE: Science Nursery School

A RURAL & URBAN EDUCATIONAL PROGRAM FOR CHILDREN

The YAAKUNAJ Initiative is an innovative and multi-faceted project designed to address environmental and social issues by cultivating while fostering a deeper connection among communities and their natural surroundings. Our comprehensive approach integrates environmental conservation, educational training and cultural exchange to create a sustainable and harmonious environment for all parties involved.

In symbiosis with Boundless Foundation, Fundacion Mexanoia,  NacaOMe Foundation and Maya Environmental Education and Research Center our Science Nursery School; is a rural school project for children, in which an approach with nature is provided, through an educational holistic program and scientific workshops on Botany and Entomology, in a close relationship with art.

In Yaakunaj Kaanbal we have a small cave to explore, a plant nursery and a small interactive museum for children to nourish.

OBJECTIVES:

  • Nature and holistic education for children
  • Reduce deforestation
  • Exchange of local indigenous knowledge
  • Biosphere regenerative agriculture
  • Cultural exchange and tourism
  • Children as environmental guides and ambassadors

WHAT?

1 to 3 years scholarship program, obteining  certified and not certified Curriculum Vitae   by governments or international organizations for  working professionaly

by building the foundations future of the students knowledge.

WHERE?

We are starting in our Yaakunaj Kaanbal center in Ejido Juarez community. Located in Quintana Roo State 1 hour by car from Cancun and Playa del Carmen cities, to later replicate this same project in other communities.

HOW?

Starting since 2020 with 1st stage online education with teachers in place to experience activities with small classroom group, until we build the main 2 hectars school by 2026.

  • Nature Encounter experiences
  • Flora and fauna sightseeing
  • Botany & Entomology
  • Photography
  • Naturalista Platform alliance

WHEN?

Every month since 2012, we became stronger in 2023 by building  community with other for-profit and non-profit organizations, gaining stronger support with donated land to build on 2 hectares the appropriate facilities and equipment for the online and also on-site educational program.

Carry out the opening and formally inaugurate The Scientific Innovation Center in 2026 as a full-time hackathon experience,<dedicated to the preservation, research and care of waters, inspired by the AAA manifesto.

WHIT WHOM?

The Science School Project is a groundbreaking educational initiative, brought to life through the collaborative efforts of the Boundless Foundation and Fundación Mexanoia. These two organizations, each with a deep commitment to education and social betterment, have joined forces to create a transformative learning environment.

The Boundless Foundation, renowned for its global reach in building and establishing educational centers, brings its expertise in creating sustainable and impactful schools. This expertise is complemented by Fundación Mexanoia’s local insights and innovative approaches to education, particularly in integrating a unique holistic educational program.

Together, these partners are setting a new standard for educational efforts where children’s self value, art, science and discovery are at the forefront. Their joint endeavor in the Science School Project stands as a beacon of innovation and hope, aiming to inspire young minds and shape the present of education.

Beneficiaries and Social Information

Kids and teens will have a new vision of their social environment, knowing that they are fundamental part of a cave system, in which we co-exist and co-inhabit with other living beings and with the vital element: water.

Sustainable Model

Our project is founded by non-profits and social groups of volunteers that contribute through interdisciplinary activities to the education of children and teenagers. Thanks to Urban Cenotes organization, they will receive a formal training on the importance of caves specially of our karst system in the Yucatan Peninsula.

Potential for scale-up

We are beginning our project with kids of Riviera Maya & Mayakaan suburb areas, but it is meant to be replicated in other sectors where there is presence of cave systems. At the moment we have already registered 300 caves in all Playa del Carmen suburbs.

Permanent Solution

Learn how to protect and value sinkhole and cave systems is a big first step in our Riviera Maya & Mayakaan community. In order for society to stop “confusing” those natural beautiful places with trash cans, or with empty spaces to plan massive construction projects, will require collaboration, consciousness and work.

We need to understand that water is being polluted through these underground systems.

If we understand that, then we have hope.

If we start acting now, and teaching future/present generations, then… we do have hope on real changes.

We want our neighbors to learn about the caves and get to know the cave fauna, for this reason we gathered a group of children “the Bio-Speleologists of the Neighborhood” in which we photograph all the bugs that live in the cave and record our observations to the Naturalista platform, so we learn the scientific names and important data of each species and contributes to raising awareness to value the caves. In Cueva Jaguar we have found creatures such as bats, the Mayan cricket, spiders, little frogs, and cereques and now we do a biological inventory of other caves in the neighborhood. “

Boundless Foundation

  • Boundless Foundation has made remarkable strides in the field of education, having built seven schools in Honduras and one in Guatemala, each exemplifying their successful and impactful educational model. Their efforts are expanding, with two more schools currently under construction in Honduras and Kenya.

  • In addition to these initiatives, the Boundless Foundation is actively supporting and co-creating with the Science Nursery School, a project that resonates with their commitment to nurturing early education through a focus on art, consciousness and scientific learning and exploration.

  • The success of these endeavors is heavily reliant on the support from Impact Investors. The Boundless Foundation’s vision of transforming education and empowering young minds across the globe is a journey shared with its supporters and benefactors. Their collaboration is vital in continuing to break educational barriers and illuminate the lives of children with knowledge and opportunity.

MEXANOIA Foundation

  • Mexanoia is a non-profit organization founded by 3 sisters, dedicated to the care of vulnerable girls and boys highlighting education and holistic health as the most important factors for its operation. For “vulnerable” it primarily refers to cases of sexual abuse, domestic violence, child maltreatment, neglect, trafficking, and prostitution.

  • For 10 years, Mexanoia has assisted dozens of vulnerable children in Mexico, providing pedagogical workshops, regularization classes, holistic therapies and a unique educational program.  Mexanoia’s vision is to facilitate this program, for institutions, organizations, community centers, schools, and foundations around the world, so that it can be implemented with children in vulnerable situations. It was there that the LUMINARE® Holistic Educational Program (person of light) by Mexanoia emerged, inspired by alternative methodologies of holistic education.

  • Mexanoia is fully supporting the Science Nursery School project for the implementation of the program.

NacaOMe Foundation

Art is Life

Art is Life & Life is Art, it is the maximum expression of our holistic soul to communicate emotions and feelings from our deepest and sacred existence.

By expressing our inside art, we release our spiritual part into the matter.

In Spanish, “Artesano” is what we call a person that makes artistic hand-crafted pieces. Similarly, “Arte Sano”, can mean that Art is healthy, therefore “Arte Sana”. Art heals and art is a healing vehicle to enlighten our inner child and let go of fear, frustration, pain, passion and even joy. It is a means to balance the unlimited possibilities of negative or positive vibrations, from duality to polarity to integration.

Art in Life is a playground state of consciousness, to embrace our inner child and co-create magical spaces in our personal atmosphere to share the Art of Life and life as a poem.

“The spirit will speak for our culture”

KARST GUARDIANS

Public Assistance Institution focused on creating citizen awareness in both rural and city areas about the importance of the waters of the karstic system and its magic and fragility as an ecosystem of waters that range from the jungle to the Caribbean Sea. Being the pro-active engine of the Ancestral Aquifer Alliance

we are nature , we are maya!

If there is magic on this planet, it is contained in water

    we are the water

We express the importance of preserving the ancestrality of our waters as a source of life on all

We join the declaration of the International Meeting of the Renaissance of Humanity for spiritual evolution, the transcendence of being and universal fraternity.

We join the declaration of the Decalogue of the Water Sensitive Territory, aquifer, territory and society, constituting explicit recognition of the fundamental principle:

The most important element in the karst system is water (underground-surface) and the connectivity between its elements is the key to socio-environmental balance and its natural vocation.

With the aim of extending this to many more bio regions across the planet where more proposals and solutions are added to restore the natural balance and quality of life of our waters as humanity in symbiosis with beings from all over the planet.

We share the emblem of the Water-Sensitive Territory & Ancestral Aquifer Alliance to all beings of light that resonate in the preservation of our ancestral memory, by Our Waters!

We extend an invitation to all corners of Planet Earth to share strategic information in the measurable monitoring of the Waters and thus support from ancient times with world movements that can support us from the sowing of quartz, songs to the water, meditations, offerings and other actions that add the reactivation of the oldest memories of water and its sacred geometry of its divinity as an elixir that nourishes life.

“It is our waters that move, those that circulate, those that spring. Stagnant waters – that when receiving the light of consciousness – open up and reveal truths, secrets that challenge us to feel, to release the memories that emerge from oblivion .

Our arrow is oriented towards life. Our arrow is oriented to guard the memory of the original codes of life. Water is emotion, feeling, blood, DNA, ancestors, it is the origin. The NOT FORGOT of our thread of life is the arrow of these times. To remember. Not to repeat the damage of the unconsciousness of the past. ”  P. Todd
